Not So Wild Life - These are pets on some level

cat-mousepad Roger as a Mouse pad - Here's my meow Roger being used as a mousepad. In August 2002 I turned the picture into a mouse pad, so he is now used as a mouse pad recursively.
roger-kopf Rogers Kopf - A closeup of the cat who is of legal driving age.
roger-pillow Roger on a Pillow - This is what happens, when you leave cats in a cold room.
Earl The Scorpion - A whole slew of pictures of Earl and stories too.
guyskorpion-uv Skorpion Mk. II - This guy has been around a long time without a name.
jake-fischJake watches koi in the pond.
omega-collide Omega about to crash - She's dropped the ball about a second before she crashes into my legs.
gala-macro Gala the Tarantula - A lazy tarantula, she has no hope of survival in the wild.
jark-greens Jark the Bearded Dragon - Eats baby crickets like the spider in Sim Ant eats the ants.
jark-beard jark-bath Jark in the Bathtub - Not quite fond of the falling water or even the surrounding water, an older Jark contemplates his dire situation.
marvin-flash Marvin the Amblypygid - A tailless whip scorpion, he makes mad dashes when you sneeze.
marvin-amblypygid Marvin again - A picture of him running sideways would also be impressive.
scout-pointing-butterflyScout goes in all-out hunting mode when he confuses a a butterfly for quail.

antelope-windmill Antelope with a few Windmills - I took this picture on the Scenic route around McDonald Observatory.
bat-1 Some sort of bat - A bat that was flying around in the daylight, and landed on the driveway before crawling up under the truck tire.

Gefährliche Tiere

These are the cool ones with toxins and sometimes neurotoxins!
scorpion Scorpion #1 - This was the first scorpion of the night. He was squished by my boot and was at least twice the size of the Second one.
scorpion-2 Scorpion #2 - This little guy was smashed the second time. Much smaller than the first but I didn't get a good picture of the first one. I picked him up with tape and realized he wasn't quite dead, so he got to drip poison on the tape while he awaited his destiny.
scorpion-3 Scorpion #3 - He tried to get me by the bed when I woke up one morning.
coral-snake1 Texas Coral Snake #1 - A Texas Coral Snake I encountered while working in Conroe one afternoon.
coral-snake2 Texas Coral Snake #2 - Another view of him slithering clumsily on the concrete to get away from me.
bull-snakeAbout 5 feet long, this bull snake spent some time under the bench.
jellyfish-tank
buzz Coiled Rattlesnake - Yeah, he's dead, but it makes a neat picture still.
buzz-rain Rattlesnake in the Rain - Not much rain, but he didn't move from there until I upset him.
red-ants Red Ants - Haven't seen any red ants before? They're quite amusing to watch (much much much more amusing than television).
black-widow Black Widow - An outdoor nest under a ledge at the Observatory, she has an Ironclad Beetle to feast upon.
mosquito-bastardMuch to my surprise, he wasn't very squished after I had killed him.
